Global Sports Jobs Limited, based in Leeds, seeks a Safety Supervisor to oversee LUFC operations in a designated stadium sector, reporting to the Safety Officer/Event Manager. You will coordinate event staff and safety, ensuring compliance with the Safety Certificate and Ground Regulations, and assist with crowd management and team briefings.

Formación

• Trained to NVQ4 or equivalent.
• Completion of ACT training.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous supervisory experience at large-scale events.
• Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Attend pre-event planning and briefings and compile reports for Safety Officer/Event Manager.
• Control and coordinate event staff and safety in designated areas during events.
• Ensure safety checks meet Safety Certificate and Ground Regulations and report to Event Control.
• Brief, instruct and debrief teams under supervision.
• Maintain spectator safety and comfort by managing crowd flow and addressing issues.
• Remove disruptive customers who contravene Ground Regulations.
• Allocate security for assigned roles and maintain security disciplines as directed.
• Deal with disciplinary and grievance issues as appropriate.
• Collect and report information from events to Safety Officer and act in high-pressure situations.
