Job summary
Ceres Power is seeking a Stack Manufacturing Engineer to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment for fuel cell and electrolyser stacks. You will lead NPI activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure cost-effective production across sites.
You will apply DFMA, develop documentation, and monitor process capability using SPC and Cp/Cpk to deliver high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities through the full NPI lifecycle.
- Resolve technical issues and drive root cause corrective actions.
- Specify, commission, validate and optimise manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process specs, PFMEAs, control plans).
- Apply DFMA principles to enhance manufacturability and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing performance using data-driven techniques (SPC, Cp/Cpk, process capability).
- Support manufacturing document packs for strategic partners and external sites.
