Job summary

Ceres Power Holdings is seeking a Stack Manufacturing Engineer to drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling for fuel cell and electrolyser stacks. You will lead NPI, industrialisation, technology transfer and day‑to‑day operations across sites, ensuring safe, capable and cost‑effective processes that deliver high‑quality products.

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or related engineering field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and NPI.
Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment.
Knowledge of DFMA, PFMEA, process mapping and error-proofing techniques.
Experience applying SPC, Cp/Cpk and Gauge R&R.
Ability to lead structured problem solving within cross-functional teams.
Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation.
Knowledge of equipment specification, commissioning, validation and process capability.
Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Competent with MS Office/typical engineering software.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling for fuel cell and electrolyser stacks.
Lead NPI lifecycle, industrialisation, tech transfer and day‑to‑day manufacturing operations.
Specify, commission, validate and optimise manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Apply DFMA to enhance manufacturability and production efficiency.
Create and maintain work instructions, process specs, PFMEAs and control plans.
Use SPC, Cp/Cpk and process capability analysis to monitor performance.
Support scaling from prototype to high‑volume production across sites.
