Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Groundworks Site Supervisor for a 2+ month contract in Okehampton, Devon. You will supervise heavy groundworks, operate a 13 tonne digger, and oversee subcontractor plant/operators along with 2–4 site groundworkers. The role requires SSSTS/CSCS/NPORS and a willingness to start on 17 August 2026.

hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm with a pay rate of £20-£28 per hour. Accommodation is not provided; commuting distance to Okehampton is preferred.

Qualifications

• SSSTS, CSCS, NPORS/CPCS required.
• Drive and operate 13 tonne digger.
• Experience with heavy groundworks bulk shift for a new commercial build.
• Commutable to Okehampton, Devon.

Job description

SSSTS Groundworks Site Supervisor Required.
2+ Month Contract Heavy Groudworks Bulk Shift.
Okehampton, Devon – 17.08.2026 start.
£20-£28 per hour – 7.30am-5.30pm.

I am looking to speak to any Civils Groundworks Site Supervisors that hold SSSTS/CSCS and CPCS/NPORS (above 10 tonne) that are available from the 17.08.2026 for a bulk shift project in Okehampton, must hold tickets to be able to operate 13 tonne plant – Supervision of sub-contractor plant/operators and 2-4 site groundworkers.

Accommodation not covered, candidates will ideally live a commutable daily travel distance from Okehampton.

• -SSSTS, CSCS, NPORS/CPCS Required.
