Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking two reliable Skilled Operatives / Groundworkers for an immediate start on a civils site in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be involved in general groundworks, with duties including brickwork and shaft pointing as needed.

Operative 1 requires Confined Space ticket; Operative 2 requires Forward Tipping Dumper ticket. PPE and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Confined Space Ticket required.
• Must have civils experience with strong brickwork/trowel skills (pointing up shafts).
• Valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket required.
• Solid civils and groundworks background.
• Full PPE and right-to-work documentation.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general civils groundworks on site in Stoke-on-Trent.
• Assist with brickwork and shaft pointing as required on site.

URGENT: 2 x Skilled Operatives / Groundworkers

Location: Barhale Site, Etruria Vale, Clough Street, Stoke-On-Trent (ST1 4AS)

Start Date: Monday, 10/08/2026

Assignment Duration: Until 04/09/2026 (Temporary)

About the Role

We are looking for two reliable and experienced Skilled Operatives / Groundworkers for an immediate start on site in Stoke-On-Trent.

Please note: These are hands‑on civils groundworker roles‑you will not be on the machine all day and are expected to get stuck into general groundworks when required.

Positions Available

• Operative 1 (Confined Spaces):
  • Valid Confined Space Ticket required.
  • Must have civils experience with strong brickwork/trowel skills (specifically experienced in pointing up shafts).
• Operative 2 (Dumper Driver):
  • Valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket required.
  • Solid all‑around civils and groundworks background.

Requirements

• Relevant valid tickets (Confined Space or Forward Tipping Dumper).
• Proven civils and general groundworks experience.
• Full PPE and right‑to‑work documentation.
• High reliability and ready for an immediate start on Monday.
