Job summary

RecruitEasy are seeking experienced Groundworkers BPSS x4 to join our client on a prestigious civil project in Newton Abbot, Devon. This temporary role offers long-term work with an established contractor and a competitive pay rate.

Start Date is 10-08-2026; Pay £22-£24 per hour, paid weekly. A BPSS clearance and Fit to Work medical are required; CPCS/NPORS tickets for listed machines welcome, with site safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Extensive groundworks experience on civil engineering projects.
• CPCS or NPORS ticket for listed plant (e.g., 360 Excavator, Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride-On Roller).
• Valid Fit to Work Medical.
• Willing to undergo BPSS Security Clearance (full support provided).

Responsibilities

• Excavation and trenching works.
• Drainage installation and associated groundworks.
• Concreting, foundations and kerbing works.
• Operating plant machinery where ticketed and authorised.
• Assisting with earthworks and site preparation activities.
• Installing ducts, chambers and utility infrastructure.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
• Working effectively as part of a civil engineering team.

Duration: Temporary

Pay Rate: £22.00 - £24.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.
