Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is recruiting 2 Skilled Operatives for a busy civil engineering project in Stoke-on-Trent.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent; Rate: £200 per day umbrella PAYE; Start Date: 10th August 2026; Duration: until 4th September 2026. The roles require valid CSCS and either a Dumper Ticket or Confined Space Certificate, plus experience on drainage, groundworks and utility installations.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card required.
• Either CPCS/NPORS Dumper Ticket, or Valid Confined Space Certificate.
• Experience on civil engineering, utilities or water infrastructure projects.
• Experience around drainage, excavations and groundworks.
• Reliable with a strong awareness of health and safety.
• Available to start on 10th August.

Responsibilities

• General skilled operative duties.
• Assisting with drainage and civil engineering works.
• Supporting groundworks and utility installations.
• Operating a dumper (where applicable).
• Working in confined spaces (where applicable).
• Maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
