Job summary

Blue Arrow requires a Groundworks Site Supervisor for a 2+ month contract at Okehampton, Devon. Salary £20-£28 per hour, 7:30am–5:30pm, with responsibilities to supervise sub-contractor plant/operators and 2–4 site groundworkers.

Applicants must hold SSSTS, CSCS, NPORS/CPCS and be able to drive and operate a 13 tonne digger. Commutable distance from Okehampton is preferred; parking is available.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising groundworks crews on bulk earthworks and commercial builds.
• Proven ability to coordinate sub-contractors and plant operators on-site.
• Must hold valid groundworks safety and equipment certifications (SSSTS/CSCS/NPORS or CPCS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise sub-contractor plant/operators and 2–4 site groundworkers on site.
• Operate and manage 13 tonne excavator when required.
• Ensure health, safety and program adherence across heavy groundworks tasks.

Accommodation not covered, candidates will ideally live a commutable daily travel distance from Okehampton.
