Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking an experienced groundworker for a residential project in Uckfield, East Sussex. A CSCS card and proven physical labour capability are required, with own tools preferred. The role is temporary for 3 months, 7:30–16:30, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work.

There may be opportunities for a full-time contract for the right candidates. Own PPE (high visibility jacket, gloves, hard hat) is required; references available on request.

• Groundworker experience on residential sites is preferred.
• CSCS card desirable; references available on request.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labour.

Job description:

Groundworker required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in residential projects. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking groundworker to assist our client with a project based in Uckfield, East Sussex. Own transport would be beneficial but public transport is available near this project.

This groundworker contract will be 3 months, working hours are 7:30 -4:30, Monday-Friday and there may be an option to work on the weekends.

Additional training and a full time contract may be provided for the right candidates.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• 4-6 Inch pipe work installation
• Footings

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS card is desirable
• References upon request
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
• Own tools are required

There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
