G MASS Consulting are supporting a leading Lloyd's of London managing agency based in the City. We're seeking a SQL Server Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to create and maintain SQL Server objects for an in-house data warehouse, working with business users and the BI team.

This role offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office. Hours are flexible within a 7-hour day, start time between 8am and 10am. The position is available to start as soon as possible.

Formación

• Five years' experience as a developer.
• Strong T-SQL knowledge and a good understanding of the SQL Server stack, including SSRS and SSIS; SQL Azure preferred.
• C#, SharePoint, web development or API experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Insurance or Financial Services experience is a plus but not a requirement; experience in a live environment is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop SSRS reports, maintain SQL Server database objects and SSIS packages, and provide ad hoc data extracts.
• Work with clients, business users and the BI team to analyse requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and carry out business-as-usual tasks supporting clients and employees.
• Manage all changes in line with release procedures, including source control, peer reviews and full testing cycles.
• Provide technical support to SharePoint and web developers, including cover during absences.
• Help develop the business's API and cloud computing capabilities.
• Support the onboarding of new clients, working accurately to tight deadlines.
