Michael Page is seeking an experienced SQL Reporting Analyst to support a busy data and reporting function on an initial 3-month contract. You will deliver ad hoc reports, optimise SQL queries and build SQL views within a remote, UK-based environment.

The role requires strong SSMS experience, the ability to write complex SQL, and familiarity with Power BI/Power Query. Immediate start, with potential extension and a fully remote setup.

We're seeking an experienced SQL Reporting Analyst to support a busy data and reporting function on an initial 3-month contract. You'll be responsible for delivering ad hoc reports, supporting data queries, improving existing reporting and helping bring greater structure and documentation to the reporting environment.

Client Details

Our client is a private equity-backed property services business that is investing heavily in its data and reporting capabilities. With an increasing demand for operational reporting and business insight, they are looking for an experienced contractor to provide additional support to the existing team.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering ad hoc reports and responding to business data requests
• Writing and optimising SQL queries
• Building and maintaining SQL views
• Working directly with database tables and reporting datasets
• Supporting and enhancing existing reports and dashboards
• Investigating and resolving data-related queries
• Improving reporting documentation and processes
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Supporting automation initiatives using Desktop Flows where appropriate

Profile

The successful applicant will possess:

• Strong SQL Server and SQL Management Studio (SSMS) experience
• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and create views
• Experience working with operational and management reporting
• Power BI and Power Query experience
• Microsoft Access and VBA skills
• Experience supporting stakeholders with data and reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Desirable:

• Experience with Desktop Flows / Azure automation
• Previous experience working in data, reporting or business intelligence environments

Job Offer

• £300-£450 per day (Inside IR35)
• Fully remote working
• Initial 3-month contract
