Job summary

Hall & Kay in Manchester is looking for a Service Engineer to join their team in the sprinkler industry. This role involves managing PPM and small works projects across various buildings, servicing valve sets, and performing 5-point flow tests on fire pumps.

The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, fault finding on sprinkler systems, and a full UK driving licence. A competitive salary, company van, and 25 days holiday are also included.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing various valve sets (Wet, dry, alternate, deluge, pre-Action).
• Experience in carrying out 5-point flow tests on fire pumps.
• Knowledge of plumbing and fault finding on sprinkler systems.
• Full UK driving licence for regional coverage.

Summary Of Role

This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering or returning to the sprinkler industry as a Service Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings
• Servicing all types of valve sets
• Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps
• Conducting general service checks

What We Will Need From You

• Experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential)
• Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
• Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
• Must have a full UK driving licence able to cover a regional role (essential)
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable)
• Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
• Experience in small works install (desirable)
• Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)
