Job summary

Hall & Kay is looking for a Service Engineer to join our Birmingham-based team. You will perform PPM and small works across several buildings, service valve sets, and conduct 5-point flow tests on fire pumps, along with general service checks on sprinkler systems.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence and experience with valve sets; Level 2 sprinkler installation is desirable. The role is on-site in Birmingham with a competitive salary and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing valve sets: wet, dry, alternate, deluge, and pre-Action (essential).
• 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential).
• Plumbing/piping knowledge and fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential).
• Full UK driving licence covering a regional role (essential).
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualification (desirable).
• Experience in commercial/industrial buildings (desirable).
• Experience in small works install and electronic reporting (desirable).

What you will be doing

• Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings
• Servicing all types of valve sets
• Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps
• Conducting general service checks

What we will need from you

• Experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential)
• Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
• Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
• Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential)
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable)
• Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
• Experience in small works install (desirable)Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)
