Job summary

You will collaborate with the class teacher to implement routines, support behaviour, and help develop the pupil's confidence and social interaction both inside and outside the classroom, including outdoor play.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Science, or Youth Activity Leadership.
• Experience working with or coaching children (sports clubs, summer camps, or primary school environments).
• Patient, resilient, and high-energy personality with the natural ability to build trust and rapport.
• Interest in SEN is beneficial, but strong transferable coaching skills are highly valued.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

This is a long-term, full-time role assisting a Key Stage 1 (KS1) child who benefits from a structured, active, and engaging environment.
