Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is working with a range of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools across Dover and surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic Sports Teaching Assistants. You will support pupils in classroom lessons, PE sessions and outdoor activities, using sport to build confidence and resilience.

The role suits individuals with coaching, fitness or sport backgrounds who want to help children learn and participate in school life all term time.

Location: Dover, Kent & surrounding areas (Deal, Sandwich, Walmer & East Kent)

Salary: £93.00 - £100.00 per day

Start Date: Immediate starts available

Contract: Full-time | Ongoing positions | Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is working closely with a range of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools across Dover and the surrounding areas, seeking enthusiastic and energetic Sports Teaching Assistants to join their teams immediately.

This role is ideal for anyone with a background in coaching, fitness or sport who wants to use those skills to support children both in the classroom and during PE, enrichment activities and outdoor learning.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sports Teaching Assistant, no two days will be the same. You'll be expected to:

• Support pupils with their learning during classroom lessons.
• Use sport and physical activity to encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Assist teachers during PE lessons and school sporting activities.
• Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions for pupils who need additional support.
