Sports Coach Role at a Primary School in Wythenshawe, Manchester

Aspire People are seeking an experienced Sports Coach for a position within a primary school in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The role involves working 50% of the time in the classroom with children and 50% delivering sports/PE sessions. The school, located centrally in South Manchester, caters to students aged 5-11 and has a high percentage of children with SEND, primarily on the autism spectrum, with some displaying challenging behaviors.

The school is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and boasts excellent on-site facilities. Responsibilities include working on a 1:1 and small group basis when not delivering PE, coaching students in various sports, and supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviors.

The ideal candidate must be available full-time, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. They should have some experience working with children, preferably from a sports coaching background.
