Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking an proactive SPOA Administrator to help improve access to community health services across Manchester and Trafford. You will be the first point of contact, supporting referrals and appointment bookings while liaising with clinicians, patients, and carers.

The role spans across neighbourhood and nursing services, AHP-led and urgent care settings. Join MFT’s SPOA team at the Oxford Road Campus in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience in healthcare or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within defined procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with IT systems and managing digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support timely and accurate referral and appointment bookings management.
• Act as first point of contact for referrers and service users.
• Coordinate with clinicians, patients, carers, and stakeholders across services.
• Ensure referrals are processed efficiently from receipt to booking.
