Job summary

Global Medical Technology Company is expanding its UK spine business and preparing the first UK introduction of its spinal robot. As Clinical Specialist you will drive the clinical introduction, adoption and safe use of spinal robotics across hospitals, supporting surgeons and theatre teams from initial cases to routine use.

You will train, demonstrate and support site launches, travelling across the UK to ensure successful integration into surgical workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotics in spinal surgery is essential.
• Strong understanding of spinal procedures and operating theatre environment.
• Clinical background such as an ODP, scrub nurse, allied health professional or equivalent.
• Strong communication, presentation and training skills.
• Ability to work independently across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical implementation and support the launch of systems into new centres across the UK.
• Provide in-theatre case support and troubleshoot clinical and technical issues.
• Deliver hands-on training, product demonstrations and structured education for surgeons and theatre teams.
• Support case planning, surgical workflows and consistent use of the technology."
• Build relationships with spinal surgeons, nursing teams and hospital stakeholders.
• Encourage sustained utilisation and monitor clinical usage and outcomes.
• Support evaluations, bids and account plans with the wider commercial team.
• Share customer feedback and clinical insights to inform product and workflow improvements.
