Zusammenfassung

Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust in Stanmore is seeking a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to support adults with spinal cord injuries within the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre (LSCIC). You will provide specialist psychological services across inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities for teaching, research and service development.

Qualifikationen

Registered clinical psychologist with HCPC.
Experience in medical/rehabilitation settings.
Experience with CBT/ACT/CFT approaches.

Aufgaben

Provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for inpatients and outpatients.
Deliver psychological interventions using person-centred approaches, CBT, ACT or CFT.
Collaborate with rehabilitation medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and other teams to support patient care.
Support patients and families with adjustment to spinal cord injury and post-discharge challenges.
Engage with spinal injury organisations to improve access to peer support and services.
Contribute to teaching and training for healthcare professionals.
Undertake research, audit and service evaluation to inform improvements in psychological care.
