Salfords Primary School is seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support children's speech, language and communication across the school, including the Early Years setting. You will work with the SENCo and specialist staff to deliver targeted interventions, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The role involves coordinating SLT sessions, contributing to SEND development, and supporting inclusive education within a cluster of GLF

Qualifications

Good general education including English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent.
Evidence of engagement in continuing professional development, including recent training in related curriculum or teaching and learning developments.
An understanding of the need for an inclusive education.
An understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and other relevant early years legislation.

Responsabilités

Lead and coordinate high-quality speech, language and communication interventions for pupils.
Work closely with the SENCo, Inclusion Team, teaching staff and external professionals to support learners.
Contribute to ongoing development of the school's SEND provision.
