A prominent NHS organization in Wolverhampton is looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapy Support Practitioner to work with children and young people. This role involves delivering therapy programs, supporting children 1:1, and liaising with families and professionals. Ideal candidates will have experience with CYP and be passionate about improving communication skills. The organization offers flexible working arrangements in a supportive environment.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapy Support Practitioner with experience working with children and young people (CYP). This role will be focused on delivering programmes devised by Speech and Language Therapists (SLT). You will work 1:1 with the CYP and support staff, parents, and others to carry out the tasks.
You will work under the direction of qualified SLTs and will be responsible for liaising with families, schools and settings to organise appointments. You will also record activities and liaise with the SLTs regarding the child's progress. You will be well supported by a robust leadership structure and will sit within a wider children's service with access to a wealth of experience and support.
Our services also include adult services and you will work under the supervision of the Head of Speech and Language Therapy Services for children and young people.
