A large NHS Trust in Greater London is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Therapist to join their supportive team. In this role, you will work with children in mainstream schools to address communication needs, conduct assessments, and provide staff training. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience working with children. This job would entail working in mainstream schools, working with children, families and school staff to support a range of communication needs. You will also write advice for Education Health and Care Needs Assessments and provide training sessions to school staff and parents.
The post holder works as a member of the Speech and Language Therapy Children’s Service. He / she works as a member of the team that provides support to children in mainstream primary and secondary schools, across language resource provisions and alternative provisions. The post holder participates in the assessment and advice service as well as supporting a designated caseload of children and schools in line with the service priorities.
