Speech and Language Therapist Position

As a Speech and Language Therapist, your main duties will include conducting assessments on children to develop specialized speech and language therapy interventions. This involves evaluating each child's unique communication needs and tailoring intervention strategies to support their development and improvement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, and delivering interventions for mainstream pupils with various speech and language needs.
• Providing appropriate specialist interventions and evaluating outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed records of all support activities.
• Collaborating with partners and team members.
• Briefing the Language and Learning Support Team Manager on relevant matters.
• Working flexibly and undertaking additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Therapist with registration with HCPC.
• Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Understanding of safeguarding issues in school support settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service.
