Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Specification Sales Manager - LED Lighting to drive specification-led sales across workspace, healthcare and education projects in the Midlands. You will promote a high-end range of commercial LED lighting products to local authorities and healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and engineers, building strong specification relationships.

The role covers projects from £10k to £500k with an average around £40k, offering a salary between £60k-£65k plus £5k-£10k in year one,

Qualifications

• Experience in lighting specification field sales is preferred.
• Contacts within local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and engineers would be beneficial.
• Experience on workspace/office, healthcare and education projects preferred.

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - LED Lighting will involve:

• Specification field sales position promoting a high end manufactured range of commercial LED lighting products
• Focusing on workspace/ office, healthcare and education projects
• Majority of your time will be spent winning specifications with local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and consulting engineers
• Remainder of time building relationships and protecting specifications with M&E contractors
• Working in conjunction with another field sales professional focussed on M&E contractors
• Projects will range from £10,000 up to £500,000 (average project £40,000)

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - LED Lighting with:

• Ideally lighting specification field sales experience
• May consider BMS, smart systems, lighting controls and other electrical technology solutions
• Contacts within local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and consulting engineers would be beneficial
• Prior experience of working on workspace/ office, healthcare and education projects would be ideal
