With our own in-house Counselling, Wellbeing, and Staff Physiotherapy services, we offer a holistic range of support across a diverse workforce.

The team is responsible for supporting staff from commencement in post through to retirement, advising on fitness to work, reasonable adjustments, risk assessments, vaccination uptake, and promoting wellbeing in the workplace.

The successful applicant will be required to work 6.5 sessions of Programmed Activity per week, plus 1.5 sessions of Professional Activity (SPA), under the supervision of our OH Consultant Physician (Dr. Assoufi). The post is offered as 0.8 Work Time Equivalent, but applicants wishing to work other limited hours are encouraged to apply.

The post holder will be managed by the Lead for OH, with professional responsibility to the OH Consultant Physician, including support for ongoing professional development, attending workshops, courses, CPD sessions, discussing difficult cases, and pursuing additional certifications as needed.

Main duties of the job

The Imperial Health at Work team supports staff health and wellbeing from start to finish, advising on fitness to work, reasonable adjustments, risk assessments, vaccination, and workplace wellbeing initiatives.

The successful applicant will work 8.5 sessions of Programmed Activity per week and 1.5 SPA, with flexible scheduling and the need to work across various Trust premises, including Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, and St Mary’s Hospital in NW London. The department operates Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, with some flexibility required.

Working for our organisation

At Imperial College Healthcare, you can achieve extraordinary things with extraordinary people, working alongside leading clinicians. Join a vibrant team embodying our values—expert, kind, collaborative, and aspirational—and advance your career.

Benefits include career development, flexible working, wellbeing initiatives, staff recognition schemes, and optional benefits like Cycle to Work, car lease schemes, season ticket loans, and onsite leisure memberships.
