NHS Specialty Doctor Haematology Vacancy

We have been asked by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Specialty Doctor in Haematology on either a Substantive or a 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Our client achieved “Outstanding” in their 2016 Care Quality Commission inspection and an overall “Good” rating across the rest of the hospital. This is a regional center of excellence for several key specialties including Obesity Research, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Cancer Services. The Trust has a perfect location which offers both London and Midlands within easy reach, access to major motorways, and an international airport within immediate proximity.

Post holders will play a full part in the work of the Department and will be expected to maintain and help develop haematology services, attend MDT meetings, be encouraged to develop a special interest, be responsible for training and supervision of junior medical staff, and carry out audit projects.

GMC registration is essential, and overseas applicants will be considered. MRCP will be beneficial for this Specialty Doctor Haematology vacancy; however, FRCPath is not essential, although you would stand to have an advantage with it.
