Job summary

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of all pupils and assist with a range of classroom activities. The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and a caring approach to help children progress and achieve their targets.

This fixed-term post runs until 31 August 2027, is 15 hours per week, term time only, and offers development opportunities within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish excellent relationships with children and promote progress for all pupils including those with SEND
• Excellent communication and ability to work as part of a team
• A good standard of education including maths and English
• Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
• IT skills

Salary: £26,847 - £27,274 pro rata (actual salary: £9,161 - £9,307)

Hours: 15 hours per week, Term Time Only

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone who can support the teaching and learning of all our pupils as well as the expertise to support pupils.
