Job summary

Christ the King RCPS in Walkden is seeking an Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support a child with additional needs. The role runs 30 hours per week plus 5 term-time days, Monday to Friday 9am–3:30pm, across EYFS and KS1. It is a fixed-term contract with start date in September 2026.

The successful candidate will join a Good Catholic School, working closely with teachers and the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to a caring environment and Catholic ethos.

The Governors of this Good Catholic School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to join our team as soon as possible. Please note that this is a fixed term contract and you will be supporting a child with additional needs.
