Job summary

Kingsway Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The position is fixed term and part time until summer 2027, with a starting date in autumn 2026.

The successful candidate will work to support pupils, contribute to a positive learning environment and collaborate with teaching staff within the LIFE MAT trust framework. The school serves a diverse community and values energy, enthusiasm and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or similar supporting role is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.

• Assist pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
• Support learning activities and classroom routines.

The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint teaching assistants who have energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation who are also organised and flexible, to work as part of the Kingsway teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our happy and successful school as a Teaching Assistant and work with a fantastic team from autumn 2026.
