Job summary

Ripple Education is actively recruiting Specialist Teachers for Ashington and the North East. Roles cover Primary and Secondary settings, including SEMH and SEND needs, with flexible and long-term placements and strong safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• QTS and experience working with children or young people in education.
• Calm, consistent and compassionate approach.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and vulnerabilities some pupils may face.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons.
• Adapt teaching to individual learning and additional needs.
• Support pupils individually and in small groups.
• Build trusted and consistent relationships with young people.
• Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and engagement with education.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and collaborate with staff.
