Job summary

Ripple Education is recruiting a Specialist Learning Support Assistant for an immediate start at a Berwick-upon-Tweed school. This full-time, short-term role supports pupils with SEND and SEMH, providing calm, consistent assistance and helping pupils engage with learning.

You will work 1:1, in small groups or classrooms, follow individual plans, and maintain safeguarding standards. Experience in SEND/SEMH and a TA qualification are valuable; weekly pay and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people is important.
• Experience within SEND, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs or specialist education would be valuable.
• transferable experience welcomed (youth work, residential care, sports coaching and other child-focused settings).
• A relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification would be beneficial.
