Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work with adults with learning disabilities within the Bromley Community Learning Disability Team. You will deliver high-quality SLT assessments, interventions and support across the service.

We seek an experienced SLT with substantial ALD and/or SEND experience, working in a forward-thinking, supportive team. You will collaborate with other band 6/7 SaLTs, carers and families in a well-respected Directorate.

Qualifications

• This role requires significant experience in Adult Learning Disabilities (ALD) and/or SEND.
• Experience delivering specialist SLT assessments and interventions.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and supervise colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality SLT assessment, diagnosis and intervention for adults with learning disabilities.
• Deliver services within the Bromley CLDT and collaborate with carers and families.
• Support junior staff and participate in supervision and CPD activities.
