Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in Erith is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to deliver expert SLT services to children and young people with diverse communication needs. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to an integrated care pathway.

You will also coordinate training for school staff, parents, carers and health-education colleagues, manage a complex caseload, and maintain HCPC registration through ongoing professional development and portfolio upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Provide a specialist clinical SLT service to children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver an integrated care pathway.
• Coordinate and deliver training for school staff, parents and carers and colleagues in health and education.
• Manage a complex caseload independently with regular clinical/managerial supervision.
• Maintain HCPC registration and reflect on clinical practice with a professional portfolio.
