Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work in the community CPFT Speech and Language Therapy Team.
The post holder will work in the South of the County alongside colleagues, providing input to patients with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
The successful applicant will join a friendly, innovative team of therapists and clinical assistants. The team meet regularly for meetings, and the post holder will receive regular line management and clinical supervision. The service currently holds two clinical development days a year, providing opportunities for clinical skill development.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines. You will need a full UK driving licence* and use of a vehicle. Public transport is not suitable for this role as it does not reliably meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
The post involves working independently, providing speech and language therapy to patients on outpatient and domiciliary basis, including community hospital wards, ensuring high-quality clinical care.
The role may include working with patients with communication impairments, dysphagia, and possibly some voice work.
