Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting multiple Teaching Assistants to support a specialist primary SEND school based in Lichfield. This is an opportunity to work with children with various SEND needs, providing classroom support and covering staff absence while developing SEND skills in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience with children with additional needs is desirable.
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
  • Provide a minimum of two years’ employment and/or education references.
  • At least one reference must comment on experience with children or young people.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.

Your Responsibilities

Essential RequirementsTo be considered for these positions, you will need:

  • The ability to provide a minimum of two years’ employment and/or education references
