Job summary
Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is recruiting for a dedicated complex care role in Epsom to support a child with special medical needs, delivering compassionate, person-centred care within a supportive team. You will provide specialist care including tracheostomy care, ventilation support and PEG feeding, assist with daily living and activities, and work under a registered nurse.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as is commitment to training and ongoing
Qualifications
- Experience in complex care settings.
- Experience in moving and handling.
- Experience with tracheostomy and PEG feeding care.
- Experience caring for ventilated children.
- Experience with suctioning.
- Experience with Makaton or alternative communication methods.
Responsibilities
- Join a dedicated care team supporting a child with complex medical needs.
- Provide specialist care including tracheostomy care, ventilation support and PEG feeding.
- Assist with daily living, light domestic tasks, and a range of social and sensory activities.
- Work in line with an individualised care plan under supervision of a registered nurse.
