You will support a child with complex medical needs, providing specialist care and engaging in social activities. The role requires previous experience in complex care settings, moving and handling, tracheostomy, and PEG feeding. Qualifications
Must have prior experience in a complex care setting.
Must have experience in moving and handling.
Must have experience in tracheostomy and PEG feed care.
Must be able to care for a ventilated child.
Must have experience with suctioning.
Familiarity with Makaton or alternative communication methods is recommended.
Responsibilities
Support a child with complex medical needs to reach his full potential.
Provide daily living care, light domestic tasks, and social activities.
Deliver care according to an individualised care plan.
Administer tracheostomy care and ventilation support.

Experience working in a complex care setting
Experience in moving and handling
Experience in tracheostomy & PEG feed care
Experience of looking after a ventilated child
