You will support a child with complex medical needs, providing specialist care and engaging in social activities. The role requires previous experience in complex care settings, moving and handling, tracheostomy, and PEG feeding. Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in a complex care setting.
• Must have experience in moving and handling.
• Must have experience in tracheostomy and PEG feed care.
• Must be able to care for a ventilated child.
• Must have experience with suctioning.
• Familiarity with Makaton or alternative communication methods is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support a child with complex medical needs to reach his full potential.
• Provide daily living care, light domestic tasks, and social activities.
• Deliver care according to an individualised care plan.
• Administer tracheostomy care and ventilation support.
