Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant in Birmingham to support a young adult with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills across complex areas such as tracheostomy, ventilation and stoma care.

The role involves PEG feeding, seizure management, washing, dressing, and family-assisted manual handling, with a full UK driving licence required. DBS paid and national opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Full valid UK driving licence (required)
Experience in epilepsy & seizure management (advantageous)
PEG feeding experience (advantageous)
Medication administration experience (advantageous)
Moving & handling equipment familiarity (advantageous)

Responsibilities

Support a young adult with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome in daily activities and care.
Assist with PEG feeding and medication administration as part of routine care.
Assist with personal care including washing, dressing and bowel management.
Support with tracheostomy/ventilation and seizure management as required.
Perform manual handling with assistance from family and care team.
