We are expanding our services and seek a Specialist Nurse in Haematology/Oncology. You will work within a dynamic team, managing inpatient and outpatient care, and supporting children and young people and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide information, clinical advice, and support to children and families with haematological and oncological diagnoses.
  • Participate in the clinical preparation and support of children from diagnosis through treatment, discharge, and follow-up.
  • Act as a resource during treatment and facilitate continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Liaise with outpatients, funding bodies, and referral teams.
  • Participate in clinical shifts on wards, including two long days in a four-week rota.
