  • Health visiting experience in managing complex and safeguarding situations.
  • Ability to coordinate health promotion initiatives aligned with local and national health improvement targets.
  • Experience of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary and inter-agency teams.
  • Experience in organizing and managing own workload and that of others.
  • Experience in assessing, planning, and implementing care programmes and writing care plans.
  • Experience of evidence-based care practices.
Skills


Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of recent NHS policy developments.
  • Understanding of current health and social care agendas relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge of current health legislation, including the Change for Children agenda and Children’s Plan.
  • Current knowledge of child protection issues.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in IT skills relevant to the role.
