Job description

A Vacancy at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.


This post will project manage and clinically lead a quality improvement project relating to health literacy, managing minor illnesses, accident prevention, and improving the uptake of health and developmental reviews.


Scope the current provision across the nominated boroughs relating to minor illness and accident prevention and provide an analysis of any gaps in service or practice.


Develop a project brief and plan identifying key milestones and service improvements in the given area.


To act as a role model demonstrating highly specialist knowledge in health visiting practice as the HIA lead, that is underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practice experience.


To provide facilitative and supportive leadership to health visiting colleagues. To act as a lead in your specific area of interest.


To actively participate in the teaching and support of staff and clients about minor illnesses and accident prevention.


Assist mentors to plan creative methods of teaching and learning that optimize the student experience in the specific areas of minor illness and accident prevention.
