An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and innovative team at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospital NHS Trust. We are expanding our senior medical staff and are seeking a Specialist Doctor in Cardiology to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our enthusiastic team to enhance our existing services. Responsibilities include participating in a 1:17 weekday cardiology ward on-call rota, performing ward rounds, and outpatient clinic work.
We are expanding our consultant team and looking for a Specialist Doctor in Cardiology who works well with senior medical staff to improve our service. You will join an energetic team, and the role involves a 1:17 week cardiology ward on-call rota, with additional ward rounds and outpatient clinics. Typically, the postholder will see an average of 10-12 patients per clinic, including new and review cases. The role includes cardiology ward cover, a 1:17 weekday on-call rota, and 1:11 weekend shifts. The ward has 43 beds. The department comprises 12 Middle Grade funded posts, including 5 training posts, 4 FY2s, 1 Core Trainee, 1 Specialty Doctor, and 3 ANPs, as well as 1 Research Fellow.
The on-call ward week is supported by Middle Grade staff, Specialty Doctors, FY2s, and ANPs.
