Job summary

Together Trust in Bolton is seeking a Specialist Community Support Worker for the Lymbridge service. You will provide care and support to adults with complex needs, promoting independence and inclusion through positive behaviour support.

The role requires a flexible pattern of 37.5 hours per week, weekend work, and a full driving licence is preferred. The salary is £26,230 per year (Living Wage) with enhanced pay for weekends and sleep-in allowances.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs (including learning difficulties and autism).
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently with open communication.
  • Willingness to participate in training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to adults to promote independence and inclusion.
  • Teach communication, choice and fulfilment.
  • Work flexibly over five days with weekend shifts as required.
  • Support families and maintain high levels of wellbeing and engagement.

We have a rewarding opportunity for Speciality Community Support Worker to join our service at Lymbridge in Bolton. We aim provide care and support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community through methods including positive behaviour support.

We aim in to empower the individuals we support to take control of their own lives and gain greater independence, by teaching communication, choice and fulfilment.

Salary – £26,230 (£13.45ph) – Living Wage

Enhanced pay for weekend shifts – Time and a quarter added to your hourly rate of pay.

Sleep-in payment of £107.60 per sleep

Working Pattern – 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly over five days, weekend working will be required.

Applicants with a full driving licence preferred.

  • Annual Leave 27 day holiday plus 8 days bank holidays rising to 30 after 5 years, 33 days after 10 years
