About the role:
We seek an experienced HCPC-registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist for our Histology department at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow. The department operates Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm. Candidates should have completed their IBMS specialist portfolio in Histopathology or possess equivalent knowledge and skills. Responsibilities include providing Histology services such as dissection, embedding, microtomy, cryotomy, special stains, immunohistochemistry, and performing quality checks.
You will join a motivated, dynamic team of 50 professionals. The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. Opportunities for career progression are available.
We provide Cellular Pathology services to London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the largest NHS trusts in the country. Our facilities are UKAS accredited and recognized as a HCPC / IBMS training laboratory.
