Job summary

Reed is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Reading, England. This full-time role (5 days per week) offers a temp-to-perm pathway after a 12-week probation, with daily rates of £100–£130 depending on experience.

You will support pupils with a range of needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties, working closely with teachers, therapists and families to enable progress in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Ability to support learning and behaviour strategies under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the classroom and during specialist activities.

• Assist with individual learning programmes and behaviour support.
