Job summary

Shaw Education Trust is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our special school team. You will support children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, SLD and PMLD, working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff.

This role offers term-time hours, a dedicated pension scheme, generous holidays, healthcare and staff development opportunities, with moves between two sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored learning programmes and provide consistent high-quality support to pupils.
• Support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access learning and develop independence.
