Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in Epping to support pupils across primary and secondary with a range of needs. The role focuses on 1:1 and small group support, aiding communication and social development within a structured, nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEN, ASD or complex needs, a calm and resilient approach, and be comfortable supporting non-verbal learners.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable working across primary and secondary age groups.
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Following EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
