Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with varying needs across Leicester City. The role offers flexible hours including day-to-day supply, part-time and longer-term opportunities, with PAYE weekly payments and dedicated consultant support.

You will work with teachers to provide 1:1 or small-group support, help pupils access learning, and assist with behaviour and emotional regulation in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people.
• Experience with SEND is highly desirable.
• A patient, resilient and caring approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs.

TeacherActive is working with a range of SEND schools and specialist provisions that are looking for caring, confident and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of additional needs.
