TeacherActive is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with diverse needs across Leicester City. The role offers flexible hours, day-to-day and longer-term opportunities, and weekly PAYE pay.

You will work with dedicated staff to create an inclusive learning environment and adapt to varying pupil needs. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with SEND, a patient and caring approach, and strong communication skills to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation across

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people, especially with SEND.
• Patience, resilience and caring approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Helping pupils access learning and classroom activities.
