Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to provide flexible support across Leicester City. The role offers day-to-day supply, part-time hours or longer-term work to fit your availability.

You will engage with pupils with a range of SEND needs, delivering accessible lessons and adapting learning to individual abilities, within a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with SEND pupils.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Confidence supporting pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
• Adapt learning to individual needs and abilities.
• Support pupils with communication, behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff.
